Angry Starting problem ?

My problem is with my 04 600rr, I've pieced it together over the last few months. Everything is hooked up and perfect but I can't seem to get it to spark. On the tail of the bike near the end of the wiring harness I have a 4 wire burgandy plug not hooked into anything. I imagine it's for the ignition system but don't know what it plugs into. The wires running to the plug are orange/ green/ brown/ and black with a white stripe. What am I missing and if so would this keep the bike from starting. thanks Joel

the burgundy plug is for a diagnositc tool hook up
to check and clear faulty codes from the bike

But did you do anything with the bike's upper or the headlights
There is one sensor that you migt have hooked up wrong its called
BAS which is the bank angle sesnor

Here is a pic of what iam talking
about its the one between the headlights if you hooked it correctley it will look like the picture notice the big arrow
the bike wont run unless you do that
Best of luck if that does not resolve the issue post back up
and will go from there

If it doesn't challange you it won't change you

It's possible. But what's the battery voltage with the bike off? Below 12.4v needs to be charged.

Give us some more history. Has the bike been crashed? Have you reset the BAS? Does the bike crank at all? Hear the fuel pump spin up?
