brake rub

put my bike on stands for the first time today.. messing around with stuff and i noticed when i turn my front wheel my pads are down on the disk. is this normal.. was making the worst brake rub squeel. didn't know. im still new to the rr.

Yes its normal to rub. Freaked me out at first too. My Bike has a little front brake squeel also. If you your wheels spin relatively freely and your rotors dont glow when you ride everything is good. I think the pads they put on the 05 could be upgraded some cuz I also have a low speed shutter sometimes that I'm sure is because of the pads.

haha, put EBC HH pads on there, those baby's are loud.
