i have the same problem some times too , you just have to rock the bike a little , i guess it gets stuck inbetween gears? This is when i am stoped and try to get into first from neutral..

Same deal here. Its normal and nothing to worry about. Just have to learn how to get it in gear and it sounds like you've done that.

It happens to me all the time...Rev the bike a little when at a dead stop and it'll wiggle out of gear...

Ok guys. You need to start learning how to downshift progressively as your riding demands instead of waiting until you stop to go from 4th to 1st. If you keep the rpm's between 5-7k all the time no matter how fast you are going you won't have this problem. Just make sure you blip the throttle before you release the clutch. Watch out for 1st gear as it has a higher ratio so let the clutch out real slow until you get used to the engine brake.

I have the problem when I've been riding at speed on the highway and come to a stop without downshifting...I just "pop" the clutch and push down the lever until I get to first...usually it hits neutral before first...
