Nevermind, searched and found that its when its at the limiter.

Does anyone actually use it?

Never use it. There usually isn't enough time for me to look at my guages when I'm high in the rev-range.

agreed, I doubt I'll use it either. I sold my RC and got my RR last weekend and was just wondering...
