please help 95 cbr600 neutral safety switch problem

hello all got some tips on fixing my new 95 cbr600 f3 could still use some more i have a flickering neautral light only when the motor is warm do i have one and then when its warm it eventually goes the whole way out and i cant start the bike unless its in neautral and cant do so because i have no light but soon as it cools down the motor i mean it comes back on and starts right up i ordered a neutral sensor for it and am waiting for it to come back in but i have a haynes manual and the bike should have a clutch saftey switch which allows you to start it in gear am i correct? because i cant start the bike with the clutch in either after the light goes out somone please give me your advise the bike runs great and am axcited to ride it i still have been riding it lol but ii would appreciate the input thanks
