Intermittent subaru like sound
2006 600rr with a Yoshi RS5 slip-on. Factory Air filter. No Powercommander.
When I start my bike on a cooler morning it sounds like a subaru and it's not a smooth idle. I replaced the plugs recently as one of them fouled out. This fixed that cylinder not burning but it will still randomly do this. I'll be riding and it sounds like the ecu goes full rich or lean in a map and makes it sound like a subaru and then it'll kick back in and run normally and good.
This doesn't only happen at start up in the morning either. This happens after the bike is warm as well. Blipping the throttle does not solve the issue either. This makes the hard kind of unpredictable coming into corners or even starting off as i have a significant power loss.
