2016CBR R-Side Swingarm Boss Malpositioned?

Hello everyone,

I bought a new set of swingarm spools for my bike but I've been unable to install them yet. The reason is because it seems that the factory swingarm bosses (R-side only) on all 2016CBR's were malpositioned-- not paralleled/aligned with the swingarm itself. Therefore, I cannot screw in my new R-swingarm spool all the way through.

Do I just go and buy a regular washer and call it good, or should I try a different solution?

Your advise will be greatly appreciated!
Please see attachments.

Regards,
Francisco

this is the case on all 600rrs going back to 2007

put a 5mm spacer behind your spool and you're good to go.

They fit what he means is our 2016 models have the threaded bung recessed a bit causing a gap or uneven spool when screwed down
