brake fluid pushing up in resevoir


I have put on a delete kit and my master is pushing some fluid up in the tube when i push the brake do i need to rebuild the master?

no of course not.

the plunger strokes below the port for the fluid to enter the cylinder from the reservoir. when you press the lever, the plunger moves upwards, and before it gets past the port to the reservoir, fluid from the cylinder is pushed into the reservoir. once it has passed the port then the fluid is pushed into the brake caliper.

this is why your lever always has some deadband to it.
