Please help, Stock 03 600RR - Fuel Priming Fuse Keeps Blowing
Hello there, Please help me!
I have a 2003 600RR, the fuse in the circuit related to the fuel priming system has blown twice. Once when I accidentally stalled, which resulted in a bit of a lurch forward, and a second time when I was riding along a somewhat bumpy road at a constant speed. The second blown fuse did NOT happen immediately when I hit the bumps, it was a few mins after. Don't know if thats important information or not.
Anyways, I've replaced the same fuse twice, they blew a few weeks or a month apart from eachother. I'm thinking there must be a short in the system somewhere. I don't have much money but I definitely want to keep the bike.
ANY help at all would be extremely helpful with regards to how to approach this issue. I'm not very good on electronics but willing to do whatever it takes.
On another note, the bike has been put away for about a month, and won't start. I've charged it, go to start it and tries to turn over. Try it again a few mins later it gets closer to starting until it starts to sputter but then dies again. Then after that it barely wants to crank. I'm thinking its just the old battery but perhaps you experts may have a better idea.
