2003 cbr600rr ignition bypass

Hello, I was wondering if anybody could help me get my 600rr going again. Long story short my ignition cylinder is destroyed and I want to just put a switch in there instead.

I see there are three wires, and as I understand, the pink wire needs to be at 9V with 12V between the other two. Is that correct? How exactly should I wire my switch up to make this work.

I'm thinking it should be red/black wires on the switch, then from the switch positive to zener diode to pink wire? I just want to make sure before I start cutting and soldering.

Thanks for any help.

Nevermind I got it by playing around with a paperclip.

So have you managed to bypass the HISS?

US spec bikes do not have the HISS system, therefore I did not need to bypass it. I did bypass the bank angle sensor though, so if you have any questions on that (or the ignition) let me know.

OK, did not know that, thanks.

I'll leave the sensor working thanks, good idea to leave it operational, just in case!
