I was doing some work on my bike and by accident I dropped my inner basket and now as a result there is a chip on the outer edge of the basket.
My question is can I get away with reinstalling it and keep riding with it or is this something that I should avoid using.

Anyone would tell you to replace it, but if your in a jam and want to ride you can still use it. First you want to lightly sand any burrs off and make it as smooth as possible
