Angry HELP!!!!!!! stuck in steering lock

went to go for a ride today, and I couldn't take it out of steering lock. we put some lub in the key hole but it did little to nothing.

did u try to move the bars alittle? sometimes if its not in the right spot it wont go.

so is ur bike just sitting somewhere?

yeah i moved the bars around a little, my bike is just sitting in my garage.

I can turn the key a little, i turn it and can kind of feel the groove then it wont turn any further.

huh? no i do what it says, push the key in and push down and try to turn, and no my key is not stuck i can put it and out easly.

i say pull the triple take the lock out and see if you can work on it out of the bike... im sure you have tried some lube in there too.

it seems to start in the proper "groove" but it goes in a little then something stops it.

I could not access the screws, so i'm screwed. I think mostier got in there and rusted it up a lil,any recomendations to free it up.

problem solved, my bro tapped the top of the key w/ a rubber malet while turning it. turns out it wasn't going down far enough.
