Help with clutch cable...

So i was doing some work on my clutch cover and had to loosen the clutch cable to free up the little lever on top of the cover...

I get everything connected again, but now when i ride my bike, the clutch "friction zone" is way far out when I pull my clutch lever...so way on the cable, near my clutch cover, do i need to move the nuts? left or right?

Sorry if this is unclear, hope you all understand.
