Exclamation HELP headlamp problem?

I'm about to ship this headlamp unit and noticed something weird about it. Is there suppose to be something here (circled in red) ? I need to know if it normally has some bracket that was broken off before I ship.I don't want to screw the buyer. Thanks

That is where the alignment tabs go when you put the headlight on they slide into the fairing stay. They are broken off... The front cowl might sag without those on... T

Here is what you should do

send him a pm and let him know if he still wants them so be it
if not you can always refund him his pay pal if u have not transfered the funds to your bank account and if u already did just send him a new payment

Nice catch. I would certainly appreciate the honesty. A sign of a good seller.

yeah I would appreciate the honesty and the fact that he is a great seller too...considering the fact that I'm the guy. HAHAHA

Great seller. I'll make the headlights work. Really helped me out in a pinch.
thanks

I didn't know if you wanted some ideas to make it work.. You can find a bolt that fits int he rubber grommets snug and tap those into the headlight, it should work just fine. T

+1

Mine snapped off after an accident. I did something similar to what Tripage suggested. Works pretty damn well.
