06 no start

I started my bike in a parking lot, started riding, and it just died on me. Then when I go to start it, it wouldn't start. It just kept turning over. After 10-15 min., I was able to start it. Forget about it? Have it checked out? It should still be under warranty.

How often do you ride it? Sometimes the system needs cleaning out. Try STP Complete Fuel System Cleaner. Works pretty well for me. If you're not sure after that, get it checked out...

I had a half tank. It only happened once, hasn't happened since then. Normal day, not cold or anything. I suppose I'll wait to have it checked out, or just do a routine checkup before warranty is over. I ride ~6 days. On the 7th day I rest.

Was the bike warmed up when you took off???
Sounds like the bike was telling you it wasn't ready to go riding...

It's not good for the engine, but there have been times that i haven't waited for it to warm up. Just start and go...and no problems:01_thumbu

Ditto... once it hits like 98-103 I'm off. What's a good temp to wait for it to warm up to?
