Starting engine swap 05/03 Few Questions HELLP!!!!!

I have a 03 600rr that I am going to start to do the engine swap I already have the 05 motor, harness, headers, and ecu. I just have a few questions so I can be prepared to do the swap right.

1.)Do I use the 03 header and exhaust?
2.)Can I just swap over my 03 harness to the 05 motor
3.)If I have to use the 05 harness does that mean I have to use the 05 ecu?
4.)By changin the harness does that mean I have to buy a new power commander III ?
5.)Anything else I should know about this swap?

Thanks in advance for any help

just curious why your swapping? 03 motor wore out or something.

I am in the middle of the swap, now just finding out wiring issues... There is definately a difference in the wiring, rad connection isnt the same, also the 05 has a few more connectors...

You will need an 05 Fuel line if you plan on using the 05 throttle bodies...

Other than that, everything is going together nicely...

I just finished my swap tonight everything went really good. I alone used the 05 longblock and used everything from my 04. I used the 04 engine harness, ecu, throttle bodies, air box and swap out the speed senor from my 04. The bike turned on right away idle's perfect and runs good very happy with swap
