Left side frame slider rotates

Just got the bike a week ago. Noticed that the left side frame slider rotates pretty easily (right side is solid.), doesn't really pivot or flex, just rotates. Bike was low speed lowsided with slider in place; slider was replaced with a new one. Is the mount not snug? Can I reach in there with the appropriate tool and tighten it down?

I don't think it should rotate at all if the bolt is tight against the slider and frame/engine. I had vortex, shogun and now yoyodynes, and none of those ever rotated. Check to see if the bolt is tight in there.

Yeah, torque that thing. It shouldn't turn. If you're really ambitous, you could take it off and put it back on with some locktite.

I know that on my '03 the right side has a nut on the inside of the bolt - you have to get in there and hold this to be able to tighten it down. Service manual calls for 54Nm torque.

Not sure why the left side would be spinning, unless it just isn't tight enough - you should just be able to crank it down - same torque (54Nm, 40 ft lb)
