Loud Noise When Downshifting

So I'm new to the steet bike world and I have a new 2007 600RR. It seems that when I'm upshifting, the gearbox is a little noisy (you can hear a loud clunk when the transmission changes gears). Since I'm still going through the break-in period, I usually shift around 5-6000 rpm. Once in a while when I open it up a little, the shifting seems smoother. I'm assuming all this is normal. Can anyone verify that?

The one thing that I'm concerned about is when I'm stopped and I downshift through the gears to get into first. All the transitions seem to be normal except when I shift from 2nd to 1st. The gear change is a noticably loud. Is this anything I should be concerned about?

no its normal your bike is fine ..the way the gearboxes are put together is a lil diff than your average car .. alot more like a racing gearbox the sounds coming from a bikes gearbox are alot more noticable than a car gearbox and the clunky feelin goin into first and from first to second is normal
