03 600rr died, and then started 2hrs

I just got this 2003 cbr600rr about 2 weeks ago. Has a new battery. 10600 miles. I was driving about 25mph in 2nd and I pulled the clutch in and it just shut off, everything no lights, gauges nothing. Tried turning it on annd off, kill switch, nothing. So i pushed it over to a parking lot and let and came back a couple hours ago and it started right up and I drove it home. It was probely about low 80's today. I checked the Battery and it was giving high 12 volts. And it started so I know it isn't the battery. I don't know if its just a loose wire or a temp sensor. I don't think its the regulator because when my f4 would blow those it would still turn on, just wouldn't start. Any ideas??????

that happened to me 2 day going over the overpass! i was pissed! Mine died going about 45 and i had no idea what had happened. I pulled it over in a parking lot and checked it out... nothing.. It would start, but as soon as i got on the bike it would die again. I got the battery about 1 month ago so i knew it wasnt that. I had gas DU! so i checked out the headlight and the tilt sensor came unscrewed while i was driving! i have it zip-tied now until i can but a screw for it 2morow
