Radiator Hose is Leaking

Can someone post a picture or tell me definitively what this hose is supposed to look like?

After a lowside, this hose on my bike has been leaking. Is the circled part (which is not rubber but metal) supposed to be squashed flat or is it supposed to be round like the rubber hoses connecting it? Let me know if you have a real picture of what it's supposed to look like or know what it's supposed to look like (squashed flattish, or round)? Thanks!

I found out it's supposed to be round. And that if it's flattened, it may cause the engine to run hotter. No wonder my engine was always in the upper reaches all the time. Well, I ordered the part so hopefully, it'll be here soon. $27!!! Ridiculous!
