Another "no spark" thread

I washed my bike then went on vacation for a week. Came back, and the bike cranks but won't fire. All fuses are good, battery is fully charged and has only 1000 miles on it. Starter cranks, starter clutch engages, crankshaft spins. Fuel pump primes and I have no FI error lights. I pulled a plug last night and have no spark when I hold it up against the block.

Before I go much further can someone remind me: if the kill switch is in the off position will the starter still crank? If so, I'll check my kill switch connections.

Same question for the neutral, sidestand and clutch switch. I seem to remember that with each of those the starter won't even crank...

Battery is most common cause of this, pull out your battery and have it load tested at a dealer. Even though it cranks, it may not be holding a full charge. Have you tested it while cranking? Have you checked for amp draw while the key is off? check these items before traveling down the no spark road. please
