im not completly sure about the bikes ive never had to look b4 .. but alot of cars constant power for the ecu and things like the clock are done thru one of the fuses in the panel .. alot of honda cars are done thru the radio fuse im not sure about the bikes .. sounds like your not getting constant power to this circut .. prolly means your ecu is reseting everytime 2 .. check your fuses would be my suggestion ..

my 04 clock was screwed up stayed the same all the time and the trip didnt work. I think it got wet or something one time and shorted it out. al;l the fuses were good.

If you bought it new take it back they should fix it for you

good luck

Sounds like there may be a broken power wire going to the gauges. Has it ever not come on (electrically) right away when turning the key? Try turning on just the electronics, then wiggle the handlebars around. The clock should only reset when the gauges lose power.

I have a simular issue, everthing on the cluster works fine except the clock, and trip odo. Im guessing that f4stunna is right on, if you look at the seal on those chinsey ass little push buttons you can see the seal isnt perfect, therefore rain will seep onto the board and cause a short. Sux, im thinking we may have to replace clusters unless someone has had this problem before ( if so sorry for re-post) and they have a mod or fix for the cluster we already have
