Temperature Question

Hey all I have a question and I want to apologize in advance if it is a stupid one......

I have just gotten my Honda CBR600 RR on Nov 10 since then I have been riding it and trying to be easy on breaking it in. It is my first 600 and my first sportbike period. I have about 460 miles on it and have driven it to work (Round Trip 90 or so miles) 3 times. Each time when I leave it is pretty cold about 50 or so and the temp on the bike for the first 2 times was steady at like 78 degrees. However I went on a ride this weekend and noticed that it was running much hotter. This morning when I rode it it was steady at 174 degrees and when I got into town at a light it was at almost 215 degrees. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to get it checked out by service or is this normal ?

Thanks in advance for all your help and advice I appreciate it.

That is normal man you got nothing to worry about
just make sure to warm the bike up when its really cold
and wait till the temp hits 165 F before you take off

Just FYI AT 220 F or so the fan usually kicks on
to cool the bike down you will hear the fan whine
slightly when this happens

If it doesn't challange you it won't change you
