Rear Brake Caliper

After the cover broke (see thread below) I moved on to something else. I reinstalled the rear tire and spun it. When I spun it, I heard one of the pads hitting the rotors ( a screeching sound). I disassembled and noticed that one of the pads was sorta loose (if you're standing behind the bike - the pad on the right). It seemed that the spring wouldn't hold the pad in place. However, the pad on the left seated itself firmly. Is this normal for the pad to to be loose. The pad is new by the way. Sorry about the pic, but hopefully you get the idea.

Anyone else. To sum it up, the rear tire spins freely and fine. I just here a screech coming from one pad as it rubs against the rotor.

the brakes will need to bed into the rotor, it's normal to have some noise right after a pad change or a rotor change.
