Batman : The Dark Knight

incredible

this is gonna win a bunch of Oscars. Best supporting actor, best director, best film...

Heath Ledger outdid himself....the Joker was unreal. RIP and thanks for helping to make one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

5 out of 5 stars.

it's an amazing movie. You kinda start sympathizing with the Joker just cuz he's so emotionally and mentally f*cked up.

He's not a villain in the way that he hurts people cuz he hates em. He kills just because it's "fun". There's no other motive...he's just mentally ill and he does what he does because of it. He's a victim of his own mental instability.

Saw it at the midnight showing last night. First time in my life I did that. My friend bought our tickets that morning; they were sold out 24 mins after they started selling. We only waited in line for about 30 mins, then we got seated. Just sat and chilled the whole time. Aside from the nerdy fanpeople, it was alright.

The movie itself tho? Awesome. I mean I've been waitin for this like the majority of people have, and I was NOT dissapointed in any way. Start to finish, great performances. Story was solid and action, when present, was engaging. If for some reason you're wafling about this movie, trust me; go and see it. Hell I'm broke as h3ll, but I scrounged up the cash to see this, and I'm glad I did.

And yes, the Joker was portrayed the way he was supposed to be. No motive, no huge background story (no he did NOT kill Bruce';s parents...), just a demented psycho who kills, destroys, and gratuitously causes havoc for no more reason than it's just plain FUN. I personally wanna see Bane brought in and done right. Or, even more so, Clay Face! He was my fav. rival from the whole series.

Anyhow, go see it. You'll enjoy it.

I immediately regretted spending more than $2 for The Hulk movie.

Iron Man and Batman: Dark Knight have pretty much embarrased every other comic book movie ever.

Downey, Jr. was a GREAT Tony Stark.....and Bale and Ledger have set new standard for any comic-related movie.

Absolutly amazing!!! I got lost in Heath Ledger's performance he was so good, all you saw was the joker and not the actor. The only thing I didn't like was that they replaced Katy Homes with a fatter, ulgier version...who got fatter and ulglier as the movie went along. Other than that, best movie I've seen all year.

Best movie this summer by FAR, Joker was mind blowing the tension built up during all of his scenes was amazing.

As for the new Rachel Dawes.....
While Maggie Gyllenhaal might not make People Magazine's annual top 10 beauty list she is undoubtedly a better caliber actress then Katie Holmes. During the filming of the first Batman they had so many problems with Katie 'robotic delivery' Holmes and Tom 'Mr Scientology' Cruise that during the premier of the movie the studio was already talking about replacing her in the series.

RIP joker from down under.

The man alone should get an oscar for his performance despite it being a superhero movie. I have seen dumberasses walk away with one.

So good this movie.

Went to go see this in Monterey because I was at USGP.

It did not disappoint. It won't win any Emmy's though, because it's not a TV series :)

If Ledger doesn't get an Oscar for that performance, I will be thoroughly pissed off. Amazing is the only word to describe.

I give it three thumbs up. Oh yeah, and Downey Jr. plays a fantastic Tony Stark.

Everything about this movie was awesome. I was so into the movie that by the time it was over I was exhausted. Definitely one of the best movies I've seen in the theatre.

would have been even better if it were rated R, i know they wanted it to be more kid friendly, but this movie could have been way more grizzly.
