Taken

Saw this movie over the weekend and it was pretty damn good seeing how I wasn't expecting much because I read the reviews before I went. Story about like an ex-government agent saving his daughter from I guess you could say the corrupted people of Europe. Ehh bad explaination but go watch it, it's worth the $10 IMO.

Qui-Gon Jinn finally gets to kick some ass and you want to give it to a whiny little bitch emo actor?

The reason Liam Neeson was cast was because the guy is a RETIRED govt agent. Daniel "I think James Bond should give joeblobs" Craig is too young to be retired.

Liam Neeson kicks the hell out of everyone in this movie. Thats the reason to watch it. He is like an Irish sounding Jack Bauer.

What are you like, 12? Seriously Liam Neeson > Matt Damon and any of those young fools. Liam Neeson is the TRUE portrayal of the Bourne trilogy books.

My thoughts
Lets just have Zac Effron or a Jonas Brother replace Keifer Sutherland in 24. After all he is just too old.

How old do you think you have to be to have a 16-18 year old daughter? Daniel Craig sells that? MATT DAMON!!!! sells that role? You need someone at LEAST 40 to sell that. 45 is even better.

Ha so who are you suggesting bro? Pierce Brosnan? That dude sucks as a Bond. Sean Connery? He in no way fits the role that Liam Neeson played. I'm just saying, who did you have in mind?

By the way Daniel Craig is a cool bond because he's serious, but like I said, he doesn't fit the lead role of Taken. He's too serious and doesn't show much emotion.

Don't get me wrong man and I wish you would read everything clearly, my opinion was just that Daniel Craig probably could have played the role better. There were scenes where Liam Neeson had some very poor acting and a lot of people in the theater agreed(just from the surrounding side comments I heard). There was also a chase scene where Liam Neeson ran to his daugher/the boat and you could totally tell he was winded which made me think they should have casted someone a bit younger who could have played off that scene better. Liam Neeson definitely played the part well just for me that is they could have done possibly better in the lead actor choice.

I agree Slaps. It was a decent move. The daughter looked funny, and when she ran, I though she was about to trip over herself.. I give it a 3 out of 5. What do you think?
