Story was unimpressive. It was more of a dissapointment. My reaction to it was.... "That was it?"... For the hype it generated. It could have been better. At least have someone get killed by the alien animals or something. I'll give the CGI a thumbs up. Other than that. I can sum it up in two letters. Eh.........

Its an excellent way to kill 3 hours. I watched it online because I'm too cheap for theaters.

Saw it twice on opening day... in 3D. Freaking awesome.

Kuma912's avy is hot.

I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid, you're afraid of whores. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end, but to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to get naked in this thread, and then I'm going to show these whores what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where whoring is possible.

I saw it a few weeks back. Wasn't all that impressed. Although I'm not an avatar fan. Started to fall asleep 30 min into the movie. For me, it was odd when they had alien pron :) Just very odd watching blue people getting it on :(

+1

I thought it was okay. The storyline is definitely a ripoff from Dances with Wolves. <--still one of my favorites.

The story line was definately to lovely dovey (not sure if that makes sense) but the graphics in 3D had me jumping in my seat. If I read somewhere correctly, James Cameron has signed for 3 of these movies.

2006 600RR for the track. 2011 Merida OneTwenty for the dirt!

And for those on Google+ gplus.to/Darke99

I thought the movie was crap. Yea yea yea great visuals and all. But the story was just garbage. Saying the movie is epic because of the impressive visuals is like saying a book is epic because the font was impressive.

That being said, its one hellofa beautiful looking movie.

Visually it was amazing. BUT I left the theater feeling like I saw this movie ten years ago with Kevin Costner.....seriously Avatar is so similar to Dances with Wolves. Just saying.

Little late posting but I saw it and didn't like it at all. Just wasn't my cup of tea.
