cloverfield aka 1.18.08 - save your money

SPOILER IN COMMENTS BELOW

okay any one watch clover field yet? if you havent please DONT, save your money. Its not even DVD worthy. The whole movie is blair witch style home camera wiggling around so much it will give you motion sickness. The movie was just plain out sh!t.

for those of you who want to watch it i dont wanna wreck it for you, but all i have to say is it sucked and everyone in the theater boo'ed the movie in the end along with a lot of trash talking.

watching the commercials and other things made me kinda hyped up about the movie, wanting to see what its all about. Went to watch it, thought it was horrible. They did the POV the whole time from a guy holding a camera which was incredibly shaky the whole time.

for those interested in the movie, here is the website.
http://www.cloverfieldmovie.com/?gcl...FQpfYQodGwd6BA

i guess they had a bunch of cover up websites and bunch of different websites which gave clues to what the movie will be about.

I thought it was a good movie, really original and unpredictable, you also feel like you are part of it. No complaints here, good stuff. Dont want to say anything else or i'll spoil it.

so i was at home. watching the giants game and fell asleep for like half an hour... and woke up to the commercial for cloverfield and was like.. lets go watch that! maybe i'll be more entertained.

i left the movie feeling as if it didn't end right. however, at the end of the movie, did anyone notice the monsters coming out of the sky and going into the water behind them? like right when the 2 lovebirds were being crushed by the bridg,e and the tape switched to their day at the island.

there should be an option of.. i saw the movie, and don't know what i thought of it. i didn't like it, yet i didn't hate it. it was a different kind of movie, the camera shaking gave me a bit of motion sickness(i hate planes!) and the guy behind the camera was annoying as eff. it reminded me of my buddy who doesn't shut up.

it really depends on the type of person seeing a movie.

and you do see the monster. plenty of times. it was a huge monster that just took over the city. like a giant humungo spider type of crap that makes a long neck dinosaur look tiny.

I thought the movie rocked....If it was shot in the usual conventional way it would have been another Godzilla like movie.

I thought it was a decent movie from what it was. Really didn't get my hopes up because had the opinion that it was a modern day Godzilla attacking a city again. The ending was crappy.

Allright guys...I thought it was good, but i approached it logically..

1. Shaky trailers = Shaky movie (Think blair witch)
2. In the opening titles, I knew how it was going to end. DOD Evidence = people are dead.
3. with J.J. Abrams, I was astonished that I got to see the monster at all, let alone at the depth and length that they showed it.
