Taking the CA-1 north to Laguna Seca?

This thread is designed to unite and possibly gather forum members who are also planning on riding highway CA-1 north to the GP this year.

I ride up highway 1 from my house to the races every year that the weather allows. Provided the road is in good enough shape come july, I will be riding up to the races again this time. I just wanted to throw up a post and see if there is anyone heading up who would like to ride up with me early saturday morning, leaving from somewhere near SLO, or meeting up with me along the way. If you are coming from south of SLO, like LA or something, you could still do this too!

I leave from the San Luis Obispo area just after sunrise saturday morning, July 24th, so long as the weather permits. I refuel and and adjust tire pressures at the start of the twisties, and usually don't stop til I get breakfast on Cannery Row in Monterey. I sometimes stop to take pictures if there is something awesome to be seen, ha.

Please, if anyone is interested in riding up to the races on AWESOME highway 1, post up!

I will forever refuse to recognize the limits that others would place on what I can, and cannot do.
