yeah, I was watching it live. Whats up Spies? Hopefully he does better, I think he was just screwed out of a good lap.

De Puniet is flying on the LCR Honda, didn't expect him to be higher than the Repsol riders. I can't believe Stoner found another half second to shave off his lap time!

Yeah, RdP was flying, good on him. His bike is basically factory though, right?

Rossi is super close to Stoner, going to be a good race!

Stoner's a bit of a crybaby, but he's still a ballsy champion-caliber rider.

What a race from Lorenzo. Nicky's inching closer. We've been waiting 3 years for him to be top 5 and even podium. Now if they can dial up the top-speed on his Duc he'll be just fine at places like China and Malaysia and Australia.

we've been talking about it since Rossi started doing it years ago.

After you downshift (in GP shift, lever goes UP), you have the get the boot out from under the lever before entering the corner.

however, under severe braking conditions, you might upset the front end of the bike if you move around too much (trying to the boot back in upshift position).

Smart thing to do is keep the leg out there, maybe bring the center of gravity a little further out and keep the bike steady, instead of possibly upsetting the suspension trying to bring the leg back in and on top of the lever.

Seriously! Even if Stoner gets 2nd place he still cries everybody a river about all the problems he was having. I am rooting for Nicky, mostly because he has been plauged with problems since his championship win and yet he still almost NEVER complains, he truly has a winners spirit.

and Nick NEVER blames anyone but himself (even if he's bumped off track, bike takes a crap, etc). Full credit to his team for all their effort every time.

Perfect explanation, makes absolute sense. Thanks.
I'm new to MotoGP, SBK and AMA racing this season since I've never had cable before.

What a great start to the season, a race where you sat and watch all the way to the end. I'm feel bad for Stoner but I'm glad it wasn't a run away victory like so many in the past
