1. Stoner
2. Pedrosa
3. Spies
4. Dovi
5. Hayden
6. Rossi
7. Simonchelli
8. Barbera
9. Melandri
10. Edwards
11. Espergaro
12. Capirossi
13. Bautista
14. RL Hayden
Lorenzo. DNF
DeAngelis. DNF
Kalio. DNF

Lorenzo hasn't been pressured much this year, and he does seem to make mistakes when being pressured. Stoner is more then likely going to be in win it or bin it mode, and it'll throw Lorenzo off.

he looked like a homo Ass-tronaut in that suit.

LMAO! I hope he makes fun of Dani in Spanish and they have a slap fight.

Yeah, I don't know what the deal was with that. And the whole fake moon walk reenactment was pretty ghey too. But I guess you could do whatever you want when you win

Spies was really mad at himself for that mistake, he pretty much left the paddock as soon as the cameras came. Stoner just can't be happy with anything but 1st. He was the fastest (top speed) rider out there but all you heard him talk about was how bad the front was.

Stoner can never shut up about how bad his bike and setup are when he loses. what a bitch.

yet Nick...said his team and himself couldn't possibly give it any more than they did. full credit to them even with a bad result.

I'm surprised Spies didn't publicly complain about the "visor" issue he had during the race. After something leaked online about him saying he had problems with his visor not staying shut, kinda made sense why he was seen reaching at his helmet a lot during the race.

sucks. I've had this happen during some hot laps at a trackday (advanced group)....and it's enough to throw you off completely.

That's what drove me to get my Shark. Had my visor pop open on me at around 120mph going into a 100mph turn when I was in I group.

I was able to get a frame by frame sequence of Ben reaching up to fix his visor as he's still leaned over on the exit of T10 as he's chasing down Rossi. Strange as hell.

Edit: Probably why he also ran wide like 5 times in the closing stages.

Not much beats a Shark visor. Maybe he should rethink his HJC contract...

Spies was close to snagging 3rd from Rossi. I'm guessing he was trying to get a good drive off T11 and maybe a pass into T2 but he ended up going too deep into 11.

He was looking a little squirley in the late laps. Tires going off?

At one point during the race Spies had passed Hayden and Rossi but he slipped back behind them after a few laps of being in 4th behind Dovi.

Was it due to his visor? Or did he make a different mistake?

Wouldn't doubt me if he does. He dropped Joe Rocket after a crash because the leathers pretty much shredded, unless it was an error on his part for not getting the visor lock on right.

I'm gunna have to say it was the visor. Since there isn't much room to fix something like that, it can throw you off line big time. It's gotta be really bothering and distracting to reach to your face as you're still leaned over accelerating out of a turn chasing down Rossi.

Rossi in 3rd with a broken leg...of course they had to play the Italian anthem first...whoops! That was pretty hilarious!
