Is that a figure of speech or did you really miss a flight to a GP...

That would require Laguna to move their date a few weeks to the summer break. That way Dorna could leave the equipment here instead of shipping it to the next round and then turn around and ship it right back for Indy. They would also have to give up running all 3 AMA classes, both of which Laguna was unwilling to do. It sucks. Tdub

GD Laguna track owner/s. If only for one year to test the water and see if they get better ratings and/or attendance.

I'd love to go to Laguna Seca but it would probably cost 3 times as much as indy. I'll probably do indy again next year.

No doubt, that's how I feel as bad as I want to hit up Seca. Might just have to save up and skip Indy for the first time...

Were you the one that ended up with vertigo or some chit at Indy this year? If that was you...sorry to hear it. That sucks balls. I had it happen to me once.

Not hard to decide on my part. For a full weekend you go to Indy, as Laguna sits on their high horse not willing to change their date to accomodate the 125 and Moto2 classes. You can see AMA/DMG anytime. It's Indy for me...fuch laguna! Tdub

Yes that was me

You had this before? When will it ever end? I cannot take elevators still!

On the bright side I got to meet Capirossi at my hotel he was super nice and gave me lots of sympathy what a sweetheart.

Yeah I had it once before. Came on for no reason and was REALLY bad for 3 days. I couldnt eat, I couldnt sleep...I could barely move. Got better after three days but didnt totally go away for about 3-4 weeks. They called it benign positional vertigo or some crap like that. I feel sorry for you...that is not fun at all.
You got to meet Capirossi though... That's pretty sweet!

I went to Laguna last year. We traveled from Atlanta, saw San Jose, San Fran, Monterrey, camped in the redwood forest, etc. The trip was great. But, we didn't even watch the AMA races. I could go to Barber (or maybe Road Atlanta if it makes the calendar) if I wanted to see them, but why would I? It's slower bikes, stupid rules, and ridiculous management.

My money this year will go to Indy if I get the chance. You don't get the amazing California views and experiences, but you do get two classes that are really cool and it will be significantly cheaper.

Honestly, I felt cheated at Laguna. Not having the support classes means I basically spent 4 grand to see one race that I actually cared about.

I can say I've seen the corckscrew, now I want to see the moto2 class (the best class in racing IMHO).
