Mladin returning to AMA ... maybe?!?

From cycle news.

This is a great iPhone/iPad app. It is a free online magazine that allows you to post your favorite articles on social media such as Facebook and twitter, which is why I don't believe there are any problems with copyright infringements by posting the article here... Enjoy!

They say 7 titles like it is truly something to brag about. Im sure if Spies had sandbagged in AMA for 4 more years he could have seven titles too. Dont get me wrong hes a great rider, but shouldn't have been in AMA.

But that said, Id be all for him returning. Since him and Spies left, AMA has been on life support. Maybe it would bring some more spectator interest back in. Without AMA, America has very few avenues to feed any talent into WSBK or GP. AMA's death would be a very tragic one, with serious consequences.

I don't think the Superbike series "needs" Mladin back as they have some pretty good racing with Hayes, T Hayden and Young at the sharp end for the past two races. There are a couple of other riders like Cardenas and Bostrom who are capable of winning too.

The racing is actually pretty competitive, but the funding itself seems to be an issue. One person isn't going to come in and change that.

Mladin should try and find a ride in WSBK. I'd like to see his pedigree against those riders.

Does it get any better? Probably not.

Wow very interesting. At one time I thought and was hoping he might end up in MotoGP but lots of things went on with his career.
