I would wager on Karl A. Despite all the negative press he got about being a rich brat he has performed consistently in every race. I think there are very few people that can find fault with his performance so far.

I know he was hurt but Carl C. has not been anywhere near as consistent. We are only halfway through so anything can happen.

That's why he is inconsistent though. I feel as if he didn't get injured, he'd have at least the 7-10 spot locked down week to week. I am predicting a pretty amazing 2nd half for him to secure the Rookie of the Year.

I think Crutchlow will pull it back by the end of this year. I think he'll probably end up being another James Toseland and get dropped in the long term though.

Abraham for me, on a far inferior bike with a team with much less experience. Has been very consistant.

- PC3USB
- BMC Filter
- Akrapovic Titanuim EVO full system
- Renthel R4-SRS gold chain, Talon -1 +1 sprockets
- Pazzos
- Carbon exhaust shield

My vote is on CC. Hes done an incredible job picking up on tracks that he has never ridden before. Unfortunately almost all his accidents have been due to the front end troubles they have began to encounter in the last 4 or 5 rounds.

Karel. I think he was being dubbed as the "Rich Boy" before the season got started, and has really put his head down and is working hard to prove that he belongs in the GP paddock. He qualified as the best Ducati on the grid earlier this year and routinely finishes ahead of last year's Moto2 champion Toni Elias.

Crutchlow, who did an admirable job in WSBK, I think put WAY too much pressure on himself by stating that he felt he could follow or hoped to follow in the footsteps of Spies in the preseason. He acknowledged that Spies's results from last year were phenomenal and outside the norm, but stating to the press that he intended to be best rider from Britain that we've seen in years? A little too bit of talking out of both ends, stating that you intend to be humble, then making comments like that. It's one thing to think it and another to boast it.

I guess I'm partial since I got to hang out with CC a bit in the hospitality and the pit box....but I got no sense of cockiness from him whatsoever. In fact he was pretty quiet and reserved. When he did talk it was usually something that made people laugh. Him and Colin are funny to listen to. I sorta got to see another side of things I guess. He was very open to any and all advice from Colin which he readily took in.

I will say i have much respect for Karel. After hearing how well he spoke in the press conference at Brno, I found out that he is evidently going to college full time while being a starting MotoGP rider. Many props cause I cant imagine either one of those things being "easy" let alone when mixed together.

Indeed it was, think Cal deserved it in the end, that crash at silverstone seemed to knock his confidence in the front end until pretty much the end of the season.

Have to remember as someone else stated earlier in the thread, Crutchlow had to learn most of the circuits where as KA had raced at them all last season in Moto2.

Great to see them dicing with each other in the final race of the season, be interesting to see how he does next season, big improvements needed but with a new bike for everyone (1000cc) it will see him on a more level field, but at the same time it means nowhere to hide and no excuses!

RIP Marco Simoncelli #58
