Win tickets to the premiere of Fastest

15 September 2011
The official charity of MotoGP - Riders for Health - are giving away two pair of tickets to the exclusive premiere of the new film 'FASTEST'. Not only will the winners attend the exclusive screening in London’s Leicester Square with the film’s director and a host of VIPs and guests they will also get a cap signed by Marco Simoncelli or Ben Spies.

'FASTEST' distills the thrilling, terrifying reality of the MotoGP world championship into a maximum-speed, full-length documentary feature film. The world premiere of this amazing new film takes place at The Empire Leicester Square in London on Tuesday, September 20, 2011.
All you need to do to win one of two pairs of tickets is answer the following question:

How many MotoGP World Championships has Valentino Rossi won in his career?
Email your answer, along with your name, address and a contact telephone number to [email protected].

The competition closes at 10pm on Sunday 18th September. The winners will be notified by noon, on Monday 19th September.

'FASTEST' captures a pivotal moment in the sport. Chasing his tenth world title, the legendary Valentino Rossi runs into the toughest challenge of his life: a wave of ferociously fast young riders, a horrific, leg-shattering crash at the Italian grand prix, an agonizing comeback forty-one days later in Germany, and the question every rider – even the greatest of all time – must face.

Who's fastest now?

For more information about Fastest or to watch the official trailer visit www.fastestthemovie.com or follow Fastest on Facebook at www.facebook.com/fastestthemovie.
The official charity of MotoGP, Riders for Health mobilises health workers with reliable motorcycles and trains them in basic maintenance so that they can reach rural communities with health care on a regular basis.

Someone will be on hand to meet and seat the winners. Competition winners will need to provide their own transportation to the cinema

FYI...

US premiere of Fastest to take place this month

The much anticipated US premiere of Fastest will take place on October 14th with a private and exclusive screening at The Deuce Lounge inside the Aria resort and Casino at City Center in Las Vegas.

Shot around the world in 2010 and 2011 Fastest, the sequel to the hugely successful Faster, captures the thrilling reality of the MotoGP World Championship and distills it into a maximum-speed, full-length documentary feature film. As with its predecessor, Fastest is narrated by bike enthusiast and actor Ewan McGregor, and brilliantly captures a pivotal moment in the sport. In pursuit of his tenth world title Valentino Rossi meets the toughest challenge of his career to date; a wave of ferociously fast young riders, a horrific leg-breaking crash at his home Mugello GP, an amazing but agonising comeback 41 days later at the Sachsenring, and the question of who really is the fastest rider now?

Directed by the award-winning Mark Neale, whose previous work includes Faster and The Doctor, The Tornado and the Kentucky Kid, Fastest debuted internationally on September 20th in the UK to an audience of 1300 and has received rave reviews.

MXi will be giving away two tickets to the exclusive and invite-only premiere and one night’s stay at the Aria Resort and Casino at City Center in Las Vegas. T-shirts, hats and posters will also be given away. To enter the contest, and for further details, click here.

Tastemaker screenings, available to the public, will take place on specific dates following the premiere event and these dates will be announced shortly. The DVD of Fastest will be available in the US in 2011, with the release date to be announced shortly.

We need to be more educated as a country on football (soccer) and 2 wheeled racing.

Good documentary. Saw it a few weeks ago at a special screening in LA with the producer on site. A tad long, but all good. Seems to focus a lot on Rossi :)
