Bradley Smith Secures 2013 MotoGP Deal

Probably not a big deal since we're not even finished the 2011 year and 2012 is still vaporware, but Bradley Smith who is doing decently well in Moto2 will make the step up to MotoGP in a three-year deal agreement with Tech3, which includes next year. So, 1-year in Moto2 and 2-years in MotoGP with Tech3.

The beginning of the end for Carl Crutchlow? There needs to be at least 1 British rider in MotoGp to satisfy BBC and Dorna has always pushed to get the british rider. With Bradley moving up in 2012 perhaps the UK will finally get a bred MotoGP contender instead of plucking from the WSBK stock.

But like you said 2012 is a LONG way from now.

I believe Carl C is staying put and Bradley S will be riding Edwards bike

If it doesn't challange you it won't change you

There is always Eugene Laverty. I know he's looking for a ride since Yamaha is pulling a Ducati with their WSBK effort.

With Edwards riding CRT next year, that leaves a vacancy.

It is a highly sought after seat however, with rumors of offers to Dovi and Bautista. Hopper is itching to get back into MotoGP as well. If he secures the BSB title, that will help his cause.

Does it get any better? Probably not.
