MotoGP 2011 Round 18 Valencia ***SPOILER***

Well its the end of the season and here we are.

Surely this will be a huge tribute to Marco. The question is what do they have in store. So far it is confirmed that San Carlo Gresini will be in attendance and setting up the pitbox and Marcos Bike. Also have been hearing some rumors involving Rossi but I am sure thats all they are.

Edwards is out, with his last ride with Tech 3 brought to a tragic end during the events of last week. Edwards is to be replaced by recently crowned AMA champ Josh Hayes.

Lorenzo and Spies are both questionable as well.

Its been a rough, long, and brutally tragic season for these guys. They are bruised and broken, but for one last Sunday they will line those 800cc bikes up on the grid and give it everything they have. Just like Marco would have wanted.

The final round of the 800cc era. What a season it has turned out to be.

Bradl set to take the Moto2 championship with a 13th or better finish. While MM is still questionable pending medical exam.

Paolo Simoncelli is asking for a minute of Noise, since that is what Marco would have wanted. Im sure the the grid will be happy to do that... RiP Marco.. .

Highly unlikely due to contract issues.. Maybe a 58 on his bike, but nothing with sponsor names and the sort.

Yeah... Josh is such a nice guy, gotta pull for him. I met him a couple years ago at the AMA event at VIR, and he talked to me at length about racing, his bike, signed stuff for my kids, etc. The circumstances surrounding him subbing for Edwards are tragic, but he's got to be thrilled to race on the M1.

Once again, I would like to plug my Twitter. I will be at the races in the paddock starting Thursday. I'm gonna give a go at live tweeting/reporting as stuff happens. You can follow me at @woodrules

And of course I just dropped 600 dollars on some new glass for my DSLR so you better believe I will have some shots to post up here come next week!

^Truth

I think its safe to say he will be with Ducati again next year. He is on contract with them. Aside for the Im sure huge sum of cash they will be after for a breech of contract...Im not quite sure where he would go in GP cause Im fairly certain at this point Honda and Yamaha would want nothing to do with them. Suzuki...would be interesting, but I feel that is highly doubtful.

I think the real question is, where will he be in 2013? Will we see him make the jump to WSBK? Or will he sneak on to another factory team somehow. I don't honestly see him retiring until he can't race anymore.

i have been starting a **** load .. lol

i have a bet running that he will do someting very rossi

so what do we have too play with???

marcos AGV , vale might wear his helmet , seeing they are from the same spono ... he could have a special , in memory marco AGV ....prob the most likely...

after seeing vale dressed in black hoody teeshirt jeans at the funeral , i think the possibility of his duke being prepped in black and black leather with his signature yellow leg are also chances , the sponsors would get on board because it is a good look for them to back the emotional nature of the sport , for this one round, there will definitly at least be a 58, ride in peace type message on the bike or helmet, i think we can count on that...

plus , what does everyone think of this one, the ride the race .... but have a gentlemens agreement between the entire field, they race ...up until the last lap..... settle it with one too go , the then the entire field pits and dnfs... dedicating the race too marco.... prob a little too far fetched , but i am thinking of things that i would do in that situation...

IGOT new stuff ...disco helped me good!!!

I hope Rossi is not with ducati next year. The moment he got on that Duc he has performed like crap. I'd like to see the Honda factory team pick him up again - then maybe he could pull off another championship before he does retire.

If he retired after this season it would be a hell of a low-note to go out on

Agreed; although yes I can definitely see him back on Honda. As a team mate with stoner - maybe not - but could make things interesting.

Either way maybe Rossi will be a master on the new Duc, who knows.

I am definitly excited for next season!!!!!!

honda and yami wont take back vr. they already have solid riders that will occupy those seats for awhile. wont happen.
plus, vr will never go back to honda. their relationship ended a long time ago.

i hope josh hayes doesnt disappoint. im happy hes getting to ride and race. we'll see how he does in practice.

QFT, the Honda bridge was burned a long time ago. Besides Honda has a lot of youth in moto 2 to choose from. They rather mold a rider than have to mold around a rider.

I hope Hayes takes this chance for granted and make a name for himself and all the AMA riders looking to move up at some point.
