Shanghai MotoGP.......SPOILER!!!

1st Pedrosa

2nd Hayden

3rd Edwards

Rossi DNF had mechanical problems, maybe it time they dusted off the 2005 M1 b'coz the current M1 sucks.

Hopkins was fourth but Verm crashed out in the prior laps, well done.

i was also rooting for Edwards but that pesky Dani with his weight advantage is just too much he's just practically flying at the straights & the track has 2 long straightways.

Man, this season is by far the best. I can't say enough about Dani, and I predict he'll be the next champion.

We got such great talents out there. Rookie Casey Stoner giving Rossi, Sete, Melandri, Tamada and the others a run for their money.

I'm happy for John Hopkins' performance, and his loyalty to Suzuki; but what he really needs to do is get a better ride because next year's bike (800cc) will create more havoc and obstacles to overcome that will put Suzuki back at the bottom.

Edwards, what can you say but that he tried his best and worked with what he had--really bad chatter. I really like to see him tighten his lines and be more aggressive.

And finally, Nicky. Though he didn't win the race, I couldn't help but find myself really REALLY proud of and for him. And I hope he realizes this because he rode hard, aggressive, and strong. He passed riders on lines and situations I thought unsafe and unorthodox. That's what I want to see. I honestly believe if he just focuses on staying on top (as the point leader in the season) his opportunity of winning not just one race but many will eventually come.

Rossi? Awesome rider, but won't miss ya when you leave. Thanks for the memories.

Happy for Nicky overall he is having a good season. Pedrosa is defintely the future, and as stated before the guy is small as heck and has weight advantage. Too bad Pedrosa has an attitude on him. Either happy for both guys and Honda.

yup... rossi's problem was the front but he thought it was the rear... when they changed his rear tire and about to go back out, he got flagged by his mechanics coz they saw the front tire as he was leaving...

NICKY's performance - had a bad start by the looks of it... but he was determined to be infront so he did things i've never seen before - passing on the outside on tight a$$ turns and just elbow to elbow with other riders - being aggressive and all... also liked it when he was really pushing his bike towards the end - his tires were already shot but yet you see him late brake and sliding his rear all over the place just to get closer to dani - but then dani just turns it around and do a better lap time... their lap times were getting better and better towards the end even though the tires were gone... geez... 1:50.3 was best lap time in china and it was in the actual race and it was like towards the end of the race 19-20th lap? (i dont remember, but i know it was towards the end)

I've actually been to this track, I have to say its quite Impressive. I'm glad to see Hayden continuing to do well, I hope some of the naysayers will start to die out now. And I agree, its awesome to see hopkins holding his own despite sticking with Suzuki.

Some of my pics from Shanghai (I have alot more somewhere....). Intresting fact about the track, its shaped in the Chinese symbol for Shanghai.

hayden will def win when they come back to laguna seca... he's built a good lead in the championship standings with consistency. i still don't think rossi is dead, if they have to roll out the '05 bike he could win with it. hayden has almost double the points he does so he's got alot of work to do. i won't believe rossi is dead until the seasons over and someone else has won the championship.

the real question i have is wtf happened to capirossi and ducati? you'd think the shanghai circuit would've been one of their favorite tracks with the straight line speed of the desmo.

I agree 110%. If Hopkins could just get on a better ride he would do wonderfully! I hope Nicky takes it this year. He really has worked hard at it, but that pesky Dani... This is going to go down to the last lap of the last race of the season...
