Can't wait! Although, I don't have cable so I've gotta figure out a way to watch the races.

Hey Gio, where do you typically stream from? I've never been successful in finding a reliable source.

Let's go Team Midget! I really hope he rides the wheels of the Repsol and gets a title before he retires.

Interestingly enough, we may get to see both Marquez brothers riding for Repsol Honda in 2016 or 2017

Marquez brothers both riding Repsol would be amazing publicity for the sport...although so would a rivalry between them on different bikes.

To be honest, he's always been in the top 4. Never the first in points at the end of the year but he's much better than a lot of people give him credit for. If he can get his act together to have decent starts and be in the top 3 after the first lap, he may have a better chance at finishing with more wins this year.

Either way would be awesome. IIRC, both of the Marquez brothers have been sponsored by Repsol their entire career in all of the GP classes. I don't see a reason why that would change unless another factory team decides to throw absurd amount of money at either of the Marquez brothers.

Completely agree with everything, Dani needs to get his stuff together and get more aggressive. I don't see any reason why both brothers won't be on Repsol either, highly doubt that any other factory will give them that much money.

The factory Ducati Team dominated proceedings under the floodlights of the first day of the final preseason test at Qatar.
With most teams waiting until at least 6pm before heading out on track an effort to wait for the conditions to be more reflective of when they will race here in two weeks time, it took a while for the action to heat up at the 5.4 km circuit.

Ducati said they were bringing a significant update to Qatar, and the GP15 seemed to like the Losail circuit, as Factory riders Andrea Iannone and Andrea Dovizioso led the way from early on. Iannone topping the timesheet’s with a 1’55.265, 0.7s off Lorenzo’s pole time from 2015, after being one of the most active riders of the day completing a total of 50 laps. His teammate Dovizioso was less than a tenth of a second behind in 2nd, making it a one-two for the Italian manufacturer.

Even the Repsol Honda of Marc Marquez could not match the pace of the Ducati’s as he ended the day in 3rd (+0.289s), with teammate Dani Pedrosa putting in a late flying lap to finish in fifth as he tried out some different front fork settings on his RC213V.

Team Suzuki Ecstar would have been encouraged by the competitive of Aleix Espargaro who finished 4th fastest (+0.433) as they will look to test some updates to the GSX-RR tomorrow. His teammate Maverick Viñales was a further 0.4s back in 11th having ended the days testing early after damaging both of his bikes in crashes, luckily without injury.

For the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP Team it was a case of continuing to develop their seamless shift gearbox having officially announced they will use it during the season. Jorge Lorenzo finished in 6th (+0.563s) just one-tenth ahead of teammate Valentino Rossi in 8th, with the 9 times World Champion the first rider to crash earlier on in the day, managing to walk away unhurt.

Sandwiched between them on the timesheet’s was Cal Crutchlow on the CWM-LCR Honda. The British rider made a big leap forward throughout the day, setting a 1’55.837 as he continued to try and solve the brake issue that was bothering him at the second Sepang test. His teammate Miller is making progress on his Open spec Honda and was less than 2 seconds slower than Iannone back in 19th place.

Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team’s Bradley Smith finished just 1 hundredth of a second behind Rossi in 9th while Pol Espargaro could not match his teammate’s pace and finished in 14th as he was another rider to complete 50 laps around the Losail track.

Scott Redding made seemingly made some big advances throughout the day as he managed to finish less than a second off the leaders, completing the top ten in the process on his Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS Racing Team Honda.

Yonny Hernandez continued his encouraging return from his shoulder injury for Pramac Racing, showing good pace to finish in 13th, just under two-tenths behind his teammate Danilo Petrucci in 12th on the Factory class Ducati’s.

Karel Abraham was the leading Open class rider in 15th for his AB Motoracing team, just ahead of the Avintia Racing Ducati of Mike De Meglio.

Drive M7 Aspar Team’s Nicky Hayden finished in 17th place, 0.4 seconds ahead of rookie teammate Eugene Laverty in 22nd, as they looked to try and find a good base setup on their Open spec Honda’s.

Athiná Forward Racing brought a new fairing to Qatar in their bid to win the Open title this year with riders Loris Baz and Stefan Bradl 18th and 20th on the timesheet’s respectively.

Hector Barbera on the other Avintia Racing Ducati was in 21st place, with Alex De Angelis on the Octo Ioda Open ART machine finishing ahead of the factory Aprilia Racing Team Gresini RS-GP’s of Alvaro Bautista and Marco Melandri.

Testing resumes tomorrow at 16:00 local time, click here for the full results from day one.

Rain in Qatar has brought a premature end to 2015 MotoGP pre-season testing.

The rain began falling several hours before the 4pm start time for what should have been the third and final night of testing at the Losail circuit. With no track action possible in the wet due to safety concerns over the reflection of the floodlighting, riders were left to sit and wait.

But with no sign of an improvement by 7:30pm the likes of world champion Marc Marquez had decided to call it quits, with others soon reaching the same conclusion. Although the test doesn't technically finish until 11pm, and could have been extended to make up for lost time, the onset of darkness means the track is even less likely to dry even if the rain stops.

A day of Michelin tyre development is set for Tuesday, however this is only for the factory test riders. The next time the MotoGP race rider will be on track is back at the Losail circuit on March 26, during opening practice for the Qatar Grand Prix.

The loss of Monday's testing means riders were unable to complete their crucial race simulations, creating a further unknown heading into the new season.

Andrea Iannone and then Ducati team-mate Andrea Dovizioso caused a stir by being fastest on the new GP15 during the Saturday and Sunday running - despite using the harder rear tyre.

Prior to Losail, Repsol Honda's Marquez - gunning for a perfect third MotoGP crown this season - was quickest at the two Sepang outings.

The 2009 Qatar race was postponed until the Monday due to rain and MotoGP will be keeping its fingers crossed for better weather in less than two weeks' time.

Yeah they are, as much as I want to see Marc get a third championship, it would be better to see a season with some serious competition and fighting for that 1st place.
