Awesome race through and through. Man, it just gets better and better.

Did you guys see that one pass Loris pulled on both Melandri and Dani in T1? Passed both of them!!! Man, that little guy's got heart. He may just be my new guy to root for.

if Hayden wins the championship (without winning a single race) I hope he keeps the 69 plate ... nobody deserves the 1 plate next year except Rossi.

Actually my money is still on Rossi to win the championship this year if he doesn't run into any more bad luck.

Being consistent is what racing is all about. It dosn't matter if he wins a race, thats why theres a point system...

Glad Stoner was able to walk away relatively uninjured, that wreck looked pretty wicked from one of those camera angles.

+2 to go Nicky.

That was definitely the best race I have ever seen! The whole race was a highlight reel! I didnt even want to get up and get another beer because I thought I'd miss something!

The pace was incredible, and had me on the edge of my seat the entire race. Rossi is the fvcking man!!!

Bullshit! That is the major flaw in the system. If a rider can't win a single race then I have trouble calling that rider the "World Champion". I would be willing to bet no rider would ever want to win a Championship without at least one race win in a season.

i happen to have a friend who won the local 400cc supersport championship by points alone & he didn't win a single round, he was consistently finishing in the podium & managed to win the championship by only 1point, talk about close.

Hayden can be consistent as hell but Rossi is going to take this championship. Hells yeah Rossi back in business. I actually still want to see Hayden win but he doesn't have the same desire as Rossi has

ROSSI is a true champion but sorry to say....... OPEN your eyes. There is no way he is going to take the championship. There is too much talent now. GOOOO NICKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (If Nicky wins he deserves #1 but he should keep the good old 69) I take offense to anyone ignorant enough to say that someone who wins a championship, riding against great champions, does not deserve the number one plate. Somebody needs a reality check. And speaking of money.... lay it down because Rossi is too little to late.

I don't know. I think that if someone can prove themselves consistent by being in the TOP THREE every race? I think that's one heck of an achievement considering there are other riders that don't always finish in the top three and win a couple of races. Like the big headed guy, Pedrosa. He wins one and then all of sudden he can't crack the top 3?

That's not a mark of a champion. A mark of a champion is coming out the best (or near that) often. Rossi did it last year winning what, 11 of 14? And 8 the previous? That's great! But shouldn't the same be said about the ONE PERSON that's made the podium in EACH RACE this year sans one (because of the flu?) He had made 8 straight podiums going back to 2005 (where he finished THIRD in the championship race). This is an accomplishment. The only other person to come close is Capirossi.

So, it's too early to tell. Rossi, with a good bike, can tear it up. I've seen it. With my own eyes. He has a different something in him than the other riders. He'll dissect the crap out of the field. But I tell you, I really applaude Hayden's humility. He always gives credit to the other riders. Never bad mouths them, never forgets to mention them. That will always make him a champion with me...

What a great race it was. Rossi was on top of his game for sure. I was amazed when he dropped back to 5th and then came back to retake the lead, WOW!!!

Awesome race for sure...the last few rounds were pretty intense, with how close the lead was.

By the way, any reason Rossi pulled over for some victory pictures where he did after he won the race?

Nicky is not riding the bike of his choice and still doin great, again steppin up his game, I not saying he's the best, 9-10 podium finishes that skill and consistency. Good read.

GREAT race!!! Nicky is very consistent but he will not be happy unless he gets some win... if you listen to him during the interviews after every race, he's always disappointed because he knows that he is very close but doesnt get it done. i give him props for his consistency but i do hope that he actually gets on top of the podium before laguna! i believe that once that happens, he will be even more consistent and see more wins!
