Padgetts Honda to race RC213V-S in the 2016 Isle of Man TT

This is just too cool:

The Padgetts Honda team will race the Honda RC213V-S in the 2016 Isle of Man TT, and the rider will be no other than Bruce Anstey.

I saw that and thought it was the greatest. Can't wait to see (and hear) the on-board video.

Curious to see how quickly they can sort the thing out. I don't think it's been raced very much. A full exhaust and race ECU can supposedly get 200 hp or so.

The new R1 was race last year by the Martrain Racing Team and also the Millwaukee Racing Team and famously ditched by Micheal Dunlop just after a couple of training sessions in favour for the BMW S1000RR.

The H2R doesn't meet the regulation for the competition, but last year James Hillier did a lap just for show.

It looked awesome!

It's not a MotoGP bike given that it's been put into production it's now a production bike based off a MotoGP prototype.

Some news from the first practice session here --> Padgett 'over the moon' with RCV debut | MCN

I really hope they race the bike even though their Fireblade is very fast and proven on the roads.

I saw them clock Ian Hutchinson at freakin 193 mph on that insane route last year. Unbelievable! Does any one have cable coverage for it this weekend? Love to see McGuinness catch Dunlops record live rather than download video later.
