Kenny's taken the lead in practice with a 1'23.162 but Rossi & Melandri are up there with them, Hayden's on 8th & i bet he's riding his balls off right now.

He just clocked a 1'23"708 for fourth.

I don't think anyones going to catch Kenny. That was absolutely flying.

yeah, Kenny's on a a distant first with a .400 second gap over Stoner, this could be the race where Kenny has a very strong chance to win but i won't count the other riders especially the ones that clocked in the 1'23's unless Kenny's got a lot in reserve.

I agree.

Top nine spots are all into the 1'23" s

Should make for a hellova race. Do you remember Nicky's pole time from last year?

Edit*

Found it 1'22"670

Stoner nudges out Edwards for 2nd & Robotface is on 4th, looks like Robotface is coming to grips with this track, props to Hayden for helping him develop his bike.

i think they're all running on race tires trying to set things up for the real thing, they'll be running qualifying tires next & drop a full second off their best practice times, whoever gets into front row will have a better chance to win this race.
