I'm not taking anything away from Stoner but it's the bike and his tires. It's better than any other setup out there.

Common just come out and say it, don't be PC...

The ducati is good as well as the bridgestones...But I think stoner himself has a bit more to do with the winning combo than just sitting on the bike and going through the motions..If it were just the bike and tires then shouldn't Capirossi be right behind him at every GP he has won? Stoners doing something right/different. Whether it be how he rides the bike, setup/feedback, tire choices...The list goes on...

Only 3 hour and 10 minutes left to go. The only MotoGP race this year that I don't have to pay to watch.

Oh well I can't complain about $2 a month for the speed channel. Look what they charge for HBO.

^^^ Get a satellite bro. I have like 6 HBO channels and all these other movie channels plus every channel you can get and it's not much more than what cable would be. Plus I have a Tivo so I tape all motorcycle stuff. It's cool cuz it'll automatically tape anything to do with motorcycles.

it well be interesting to see how those tires handle the hard rear ducati has set up for stoner... his bike is wild coming out of every low gear corner at leguna to make up for the drop in the cork screw, where the suspension can pinch... late in the race the tire can wear and the bike will slide hard if they stay with that set-up... it was great for qualifying but will not last for a whole race... but if the rear can hold and he can build up a big enough lead there's nothing anyone can do... until yesterday i did not see his bike on top at leguna... but i still love edwards and hopkins chances up on podium... plus rossi looked to be holding back... he never looked to be riding as hard as other riders... damn italians, he; he's up to something

another GP over and another casey basher proved wrong again.... whenwill you all learn the kid has mad skillz..... he was the fastest thing on 250s but drashed or won like Kevin used to, now he nas clarmed down is on a great bike with a great team mate, who with the same bike and setup is not winning, reguardless of being a form champ himself..... its the rider, its been said on here a thousand times its the rider not the bike , he communicates well with the team and together they set that thing up!!!

that and the bridgestones did hold together for this race... point taken

he is gunna win this thing... unless val has a majic potion or something!!!

If Rossi had a setup as good as Stoner, Rossi would smoke him every race. Stoner is good but doesn't have the skills Rossi has. I think Hopkins could compete too if he had a better setup. He hangs at the front for the first half of the race then falls back.

Come on people! i think stoner has just found that "zone". the zone every racer looks for during every race. Val, Nicky,Hopkins, etc... Knows that "zone" all to well but currently as you can see THE KID has made that "ZONE" home. Blame it on setup or rider THE KID is on. I'm not a rider basher or a die hard Hayden or Rossi fan or even a Stoner freak, I just like to see a racer go out and do his thing in a righteous way, so far Stoner is out in front under hella pressure every race. Now when everybody else gets in that feel-so-good zone WHATATIME IT WILL BE! remember every racer out on that track wants to sport that #1 plate...

I call BS.

Stoner is (as Lucious put it) in the zone. Sure he's got a great bike, but if you think that is the sole reason for his recent success think again.

All of the top guys are so good. They can all ride whatever bike they have to the limit. Give any of the top guys the best machine and tires and they are going to win. Stoner, Rossi, Hayden, Pedross, whoever.
