i won't bother watching the race on sunday just to teach dorna a lesson on how boring motogp has become since shifting to 800's, stoner will runaway & dominate the race like he usually does. i'm gonna ride my scooter on the local go kart track to have some good time, i didn't watch the Sepang GP b'coz i knew it will be another stoner win.

Yet another race not worth watching.

Congrats to stoner and ducati....but jeezus christ, this season has been an absolute bore.

If 08 isn't better, I might skip gp altogether and just watch ama ss and fim wss/wsbk. Now THAT's what I call racing.

Marco is going good pace. He is going to be a big threat next year at Ducati for sure. I am very disappointed with Nicky's entire season, I am sure this is one season he will want to forget. And ROSSI, he has to leave Yamaha and come back to Honda, although we all know he won't. Can't wait to watch Qualifying tomorrow morning. Should be fun for sure.

Definitely look out for Marco, especially next season on the Duc. Yeah the race probably wont be much fun to watch, but might as well watch it cuz we wont see another GP race for many months...although I dont think Im gonna miss it so much this year cuz it has been so boring.

Sylvain showing pace on the Dunlops. Too bad they wither away after 2 laps. I want to see what Sylvain and DePuniet can do at their new teams next year. Hopefully there will be more action in 2008.

I am always wary about Dunlops being up front at FP because generally, they're running qualifiers. I'll wait to hear more about what tires before I say anything. Here's what I will say, Guintoli on a Ducati and Bridgestones is going to be CRAZY! You think Marco has pace. The only thing holding Guintoli back is a slow bike on withering tires. You'll see. Guintoli is the dark horse for next year. Mark my words!!! You heard it hear first!

Rossi on Kawi? That'd be really interesting. hahah

As for his crash...I think Michelin is going to get an earful from his team.

Both Hayden and Rossi were having some major issues with the tires on the track. Maybe because they're both big guys? I don't know.

Pedrosa seems to have adapted, and the rest of the riders (excluding Davies and West) seem to be handling the track pretty well.

That one left-hander they all come sliding into is pretty sick! hhahaa

It's like slip and slide TURN!!!

So how do the points work out? If Pedrosa finishes first Rossi needs to score 1 point to remain in second, right? What about if Pedrosa finishes in anything but first.. Rossi doesn't have to score to remain in second place?

and does anyone have the clip of the crash?

Davies stinks, but he hasn't had too much ride time. And what happened to West? The whiz kid from the WSBK SuperSport series. Another bad decision by Kawasaki , they should have held on to DePuniet.

Zakath, no video clips bro. I was watching live on the site.

Yea, sorry...I was watching the streams and the clips on the MotoGP website.

As long as Pedrosa doesn't hit first place, Rossi's 2nd place standing is secure. But there's a chance, knowing Rossi, that he'll try and come out and get some kind of placement in the race to get 1 or more points.

I would think he should just rest...but who knows. Things just haven't been going his way this season and these last couple of races...so maybe it's better that he just sit this one out...although a win by Pedrosa could be in the cards.

No doubt about getting a needle for that wrist...IF he decides to race.

That's his throttle/braking hand and he has to turn, hold on with that hand...so it's going to be quite iffy, in my opinion.

I would rather he just saved himself for the next season.

Let Pedrosa and Stoner duke it out.

We'll see...

I never realised this but Rossi has never missed a 500GP or MotoGP race and will be trying not to break that record I guess.

But in reality he wasn't in with a chance of winning anyway - then the Repsols are struggling for pace on race tyres - Nicky was 2.5 seconds slower on race tyres than his qualiflying time and one of his crew said the Michelins just were't working. Don't know if that's the case for Dani too.

I've lost all interest in it - I usually arrange my day around watching the race then get bored halfway through but this time i'm not even going to bother

I'm with you on that one, I like Guintoli. I think we will see him more towards the front, but I don't think he will be winning races. I can see Melandri in the chase for the championship next year.

Rossi lost it in Turn 2 @ Valencia. was this the same turn Vishal??
I haven't seen the vid yet for his recent crash. his front lost grip here. pushing too hard trying to catch up to the leaders.
yep, found the vid. great race with Bayliss embarassing the grid, on his ONE GP race in 06.

Damn shame about losing second place in the standings for Rossi. Absolutely the worst season.

Good for Podbot though. I had a feeling he'd pull this one out, with his recent form.

Well, can't wait for Winter Testing and the begin on the next season :) woo hoooo!!!

If was a pretty wacky season. I'm still waiting to see what happens with YAMAHA and MICHELIN, will they continue? Or will it be like it was rumored that ONLY Rossi will go Bridgestone with Lorenzo maintaining the Yamaha/Michelin combo....

Poor Rossi. Shoddy equipment and Shoddy tires. The M1 blows big ones. I don't see Rossi re-signing with Yamaha. Better head to Kawi. lol
