13th, 21st, and 25th? Not good. Ten Kate is in trouble. Not surprising considering that they got their bikes so late in the preseason and only had one test. I hope they can make some fast progress but if they finish race 1 outside of the top ten chances are they are not going to be able to catch up enough during the season to challenge for the title, or even the top 5. :(

I Think Carlos Checa will be much more competative tomorrow and the weekend. This is basicly his first time on the 08 bike!

I love watching Nori race...he hangs it all out every lap!

Has anyone had any luck with the Speedtv site finding their racing schedule? They changed the site and it seems all screwed-up? I know the these races run Tuesday.

Yeah maybe the Ten Kate boys will do better in Superpole and the race since they've had so little time on the bike. I just fear that the bike is simply not developed enough yet. Ducati had the 1098R testing from the beginning of the preseason and Ten Kate got their bikes after the new year :/

I checked the schedule before they f'ed up the site and it said that the races would air on Sunday at 5 and 6 o'clock. I'll double check it on my digital cable box.

Yeah, I think Superbikes and Supersports are going to both be very exciting!!! I can't wait till Sunday! Honda has a lot of talented riders in Supersport (Rea, Pitt & Jones) this year! It should be very close racing. I think the Triumphs will struggle this year, but it's great to see them racing.

Durrr...you're totally right, I forgot about that. Well I hope he wins anyway because it will give him good momentum when he steps up. At first I was kind of disappointed that he didn't go straight to WSBK. But looking at how far behind Ten Kate seems to be at this point, it might be a blessing in disguise that he's in WSS.

yeah jonny rea is looking like the man to beat, and the scary thing is he doesn't even know the majority of the tracks and look at the times he has been putting in.

As far as the ten kate sbk lacking on the times today, i wouldn't worry to much, i bet its gonna be well up to speed within a few races

Yeah I think he was offered a seat on the Ducati Xerox team and turned that down for a WSS ride with TK. My guess he did that so he can be on a better learning curve for the next two years.

he is actually on a 3 year contract with ten kate/honda (HRC) 1 year in wss and 2 years in wsb. He has truely been taken under the wing (no pun intended) of the big H! He rode for the factory HRC team here in the uk.

We will see Rea on a Moto Gp bike in years to come. A true talent

The 2008 Blade has had exactly ONE test at Almeria (three sessions). That's HARDLY enough time to develop a bike considering the 1098 had most of the off season. Blame HRC. AMA basically had to steal a Blade from overseas to start working on it. That being said, Kenan has been at least 1-2 seconds off Checa/Kiyonari's pace all pre-season. He keeps saying he needs more time to adjust to the Superbike. Well, TIME'S UP BUDDY! I'm afraid Kenan is revealing that he's a bit... dare I say... overrated.

Oh, and... YAH! FOR RACING SEASON!!!

Overrated? Nobody who completely dominates FIM WSS is overrated. He made those other world-class racers look like they were standing still.

Nicky JUST got "used" to the 08-spec GP bike, and it's taken him what...500-600+ practice laps just to get it right this preseason?

Give Kenan a chance. His teammates are coming from more high-powered platforms than he is (Kiyo from BSB, and Checa from GP). I feel he'll adapt somewhere mid-season. Besides, I think WSBK is more competitive than GP at the moment (might change this season). There are what, 5 or 6 riders in WSBK that can win any given race...whereas in GP you have Stoner.....Stoner........Stoner.....Rossi.
