I’m looking into dropping a bigger motor in my 600, but I’m trying to figure out what it would take to do it. I’m not familiar with the different motor mounts and all the mods that would need to be done. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a 1k engine. Yes, I know I could just get a bigger bike but that’s not what this discussion is about so please don’t flood this tread with those replies. I’m just looking to pick the brain of someone who may be familiar with this sort of thing.
My suggestion - swap your 600cc forks and rear shock onto a 1000cc frame and motor. This is the closest you will get to a 600cc to 1000cc motor swap.
Motor swaps do not work in the world of sport bikes like they in the automotive world.
