Don't see why not, it's not the same formula as the regular WD-40 and this is designed for chains. Honestly all the chain lubes/waxes perform more or less the same especially for road use. Just make sure you apply an appropriate amount, follow instructions, adjust chainslack and keep an eye on it after you use it to see how long it lasts. I know some waxes i've used last longer than others.
I'm a maxima fan boy tho just waiting for my dupont bottle to finish so i can go back..
I'd be curious how it works out as well. Its way cheaper.
