I love the opinions and judgement of some people. I buy Rotella because it's available locally, and I buy 5 or 6 gallons at a time. when you do 5 oil changes a year, it's good to have it sourced locally.

I have also had it tested and it performs flawlessly.

Hmmmm,

1. certified for our bikes
2. passes testing
3. Sourced locally

Yeah, it must be because I'm cheap. That's why I ride Italian bikes.

I'm just teasing but unfortunately I am not done lol

Maybe the reason why you ride italian bikes is because you saved up so much money from buying cheaper oil

By the way, someone should send blackstone labaratories a sample of their oil with excessive known amounts of magnesium (which shouldn't affect flashpoint) and see whether their test comes back with accurate results. That would be interesting to see. Test the testers.

I actually did this with Home Depot when they were giving out free water samples. I sent them a sample of faucet water (#1), a sample of filtered faucet water (#2), and a sample of bottled Poland spring water (#3). All #1-3 samples had dangerous levels of various minerals, #2 was worse than #1, and #3 was worse than #2. Each time they recommended me the same filtering product. After each recommendation, I asked for written results and they denied to send them to me because I wouldn't understand them lol.

I use the bike mostly in weekends, I ride almost 100 kms (62 miles) so approx 250 miles for a month.

One of my friend suggested me Motul Fully Synthetic 10W40 saying which is capable of doing 5000 miles without any hassle. I've been using Honda 224 oil filter in every oil change.

Just want to know which engine oil is better! Help me out alryt!

I'm from Sri Lanka and the temperature is bit high in Colombo (92 C - 108 C shown in gauge even when I use high temperature coolant) mostly where I ride my bike.

Thanks in advance guys!
Hi bro, Can you tell me where can i motul 5100 in sri lanka?

i used to run AMSoil, didnt like it in my suzuki, switched to rotella and felt much better.

my ducati, I always ran 300V.

my CBR racebike I always ran 300V, just switched to liqui moly because its much cheaper with similar specs (on paper). will see how it holds this race season.
