tary preisser very clean,

if tracked, look for scratches on forks and triple tree, s/b lots of stonechips on forward facing metalic surfaces from stones being flung at it from other bikes close by.

Tool marks on headlight/directional switches indicating they have been removed.....same on fairing bolts
(maybe tool marks all over the Bike?)
safety wire drilling also.

Good Luck.

I thought that i'd ask the opinions of a few people here. My mate wants to buy a 600 & we both liked the look of this very clean 03 plate. The only concern i have is that its got a weird history. It's manufacture date was 2003 however it was not registered on the road until January 15th 2007.
The other thing though is that its currently sorn & has not had an MOT since 7th September 2013...

Could have been in the hands of somebody who does not use motorbikes much & that would explain the 4977miles on it...

We came back to my house to decide & my father suggested it may have been tracked. It would explain why the paint is so immaculate if they have only just converted it back to a road going machine. Anyway, just wanted a few ideas what to look for when we go back. I'll try see if the sump plug has been drilled for lockwire purposes like my dad said but may prove difficult in the dealership.
The tyres were Pirelli Supercorsa 3's i think but they both looked good tread & not cut up as if someone had been right over.
The bloke at the dealership said it may have been demo bike or a showroom bike which was what we were hoping for.
Anyone elses thoughts would be appreciated
