Hi,
I have a CBR600RR 2008 and probably i need to replace my radiator.
a new OEM will cost me 360$ + shipping + taxes.
I saw on Ebay there are few known (Arashi, ) and unknown (TCMT) chinese brands, can someone recommend out of his own experience?
I saw also a US company by the name Maneki with good reviews.
I saw your other post and I see you mention 100*c as the high point of what you see. The fan doesn't even kick on until 220*F, so you're not anywhere close to overheating. I think that's 104-105c right?
IS there any other reason why you are looking for a new radiator? because your temps are fine.
Hi,
of course it heat up to 104 and then the fans start to kick and it is fine.
The problem is that on the highway when driving 100Km/h and more, the temperature goes to 85-95 and a i have this bike for 5 years and it was always at 77-78 .
Why not do a full flush with radiator cleaner first?
It might also be your water pump.
I've replaced a few radiators on these and I just buy OEM on eBay. Usually less than $100 delivered. May not be an option for you but I've never had any issues.
